Savannah’s senior session in downtown Charleston was SUCH a special one!!! Not only did she include The Pink Figgy car  – one of my clients’ favorite props to rent for their senior portraits – but she and her mom traveled all the way from Fredericksburg, Virginia to Charleston for her shoot. Fredericksburg is my hometown and where my business first started back in 2013, so getting to photograph a senior who made the trip from there felt extra full-circle and special.

And the biggest compliment of all!? Savannah’s mom is a photographer herself and has been following along with my business almost all the way back since the beginning. I will never get over what an honor it is when another photographer trusts me with their own family’s portraits!!!

We started the session with The Pink Figgy downtown, and we somehow lucked into one of the BEST parking spots in all of Charleston. There was an open spot right in front of the prettiest floral archway – the kind of spot photographers absolutely die over this time of year!!! Between the pink car, the blooms and Savannah’s gorgeous styling, it was the dreamiest setup. The day had been a little cloudy, but right at the very end, the sun peeked out just for us and gave us the most beautiful golden hour glow. It could not have been more perfect!

Savannah: Thank you so much for traveling all the way to Charleston and trusting me to capture such an exciting season for you! It was such an honor to photograph you, and getting to meet your sweet family after so many years of your mom following along made it even more special.
