Lauren’s sunrise senior session in downtown Charleston was absolutely beautiful!!! We started the morning at Rainbow Row and The Battery, which is always such a gorgeous way to begin a shoot. The soft early-morning light, pastel buildings and quiet streets made everything feel calm, dreamy and so classic Charleston.

One of the biggest perks of a sunrise session is getting access to places that are usually full of people later in the day…and Lauren’s session was the perfect example of that!!! We photographed The Pink Figgy right on iconic Rainbow Row, which is almost impossible to do at any other time of day. Because we were up so early, we had it almost entirely to ourselves! It made that portion of her gallery feel extra special, and the pink car paired with the colorful Rainbow Row backdrop was just too good!

After downtown, we headed to Hampton Park to capture as many bright colors and florals as we could before wrapping up her session. And Hampton Park was absolutely showing off for her!!! Between the flowers, greenery and soft morning light, it gave us the dreamiest ending to her gallery. I loved how this session moved from classic Charleston architecture to colorful florals, all while keeping that soft sunrise feel throughout the entire morning.

Lauren’s session was such a sweet reminder of why sunrise shoots can be so worth the early alarm. We had beautiful light, quiet streets, iconic locations and so much color from start to finish. It was dreamy in every way!
