These two girls have one of the strongest friendships I have EVER seen. Alexis has just overcome a long battle with leukemia and watching Sydney be right by her side through her entire journey was truly inspiring. I photographed these two girls in June, while Alexis was still battling leukemia, and their friendship has done nothing but grow stronger in the period between the two sessions. We had an absolutely great time and the weather was absolutely beautiful! (I would hope so seeing as we had to reschedule this session FIVE times!)  I decided to try something a little new at their session and I brought a few bags of confetti with me…I had no idea how the photos would turn out but boy, they are some of my favorites now!
