This week, I am spending some time in New Haven, Connecticut for the Justin & Mary “Walk Through a Wedding” workshop! When I arrived on Tuesday evening, we kick-started the workshop with a GORGEOUS styled welcome dinner + a hilarious game of “Heads Up”. On the first “official” day of the workshop, we spent almost 13 hours covering an ENTIRE wedding day. Justin & Mary shared how they shoot every aspect of the day from getting ready to first dances to sparkler exits…and my mind is still trying to absorb all of the helpful information that they shared! I am so thankful for photographers like Justin & Mary, because they shine such a bright light in the community. Unlike other photographers, they truly LOVE to teach and the “why” behind their business drives every decision that they make. They are such a wonderful example to follow, and I cannot express how much the workshop is changing my business for the better!
The first day of the workshop was complete with a fully styled wedding day, and the shoot was a DREAM. I will be sharing the full workshop and all of my styled shoot images in the next few days…but for now, enjoy some sneak peeks from the jaw-dropping afternoon!
LOVE. Can’t wait to see the full re-cap! You did such a great job and I love the photos so far!
