Last weekend, I had the opportunity to travel to Raleigh, North Carolina for Emily and Zach’s wedding day!!! ALL of my weddings are close to my heart, but this one was particularly special to me. Not only did I shoot Emily and Zach’s engagement photos, but I shot their PROPOSAL, too!!! AND, Emily is a Senior Photography Workshop and mentoring alumni!!! I’ve known these two for almost two years now and I feel so lucky to have been a part of every step of this journey! Since the very first day Zach messaged me asking if he could propose at Emily’s mentoring session all the way until they hugged me goodbye on their big day…these two are clients become friends and I am SO thankful for that!!!

The day started with the warmest welcome into the bridal suite. Drew and I walked in and all of the bridesmaids knew who we were and made us feel so loved!!! I always know it’s going to be an amazing wedding when it starts off that way…because then we have so much FUN the whole day!! And that’s exactly what we did. There was an 80% chance of rain all day long on their day…but not a drop of rain fell until after the reception was in full swing!!! SUCH a blessing! From the beautiful details to joyful getting ready shots to the emotional first look…this wedding day was an absolute dream from start to finish.

Congratulations, Emily and Zach!!! Thank you so much for trusting Drew and I to be a part of your big day! We love you both!!!
