Last Monday, I hosted my 5th Senior Photography workshop in downtown Fredericksburg (you can read the behind-the-scenes recap HERE!) and the styled shoot this go-around was hands-down my FAVORITE shoot we’ve done for a workshop!! Kat of Dear Sweetheart Events continues to blow me away every single time we work together. For this shoot, we wanted it to be full of summery, citrusy colors and lots of southern details. We had the opportunity to work in the brand new SnapSpace Studios space directly across the street from my studio (SO convenient!!) and it was absolutely gorgeous! White walls, tons of natural light and beautiful exposed brick…LOVE!!!

We had four of my amazing 2017 senior spokesmodels join us for the day and provided them with full wardrobe and professional hair and makeup. Then, after teaching all about posing and lighting, we split the attendees into small groups and worked in stations so they had individual time with each model. From floppy sunhats, peonies as big as your face and Charleston inspiration…I just can’t get enough of this one!!! It almost feels like you’re at the Kentucky Derby…ahhh!
