This week, I hosted my 5th Senior Photography Workshop and my heart is so full. I still have tired eyes, sore feet and a raspy voice, but I could not be happier! 9 attendees from all over the US traveled to my little Fredericksburg studio for a day full of learning, shooting and growing. Every time I host a workshop, it feels a little surreal…I always think “there is no way these ladies traveled all the way here just for me…they must have already been in town and it just happened to work out”. It’s so hard to wrap my mind around that! I feel so lucky and so blessed to work with so many amazing business owners each year. Workshops will always be my favorite!!!
We kickstarted the workshop experience with our fun meet & greet on the evening before. We had a delicious donut topping bar (SO yummy!!!) and incredible Olivia Macarons! Then, we spent 9 hours on Monday diving into the nitty gritty of owning a senior photography business, serving your clients and making your seniors feel loved. We talked about how to design an experience that creates clients-for-life and allows your business to market itself. Then we dove into the shooting side of things with a STUNNING citrus-inspired styled shoot by Dear Sweetheart Events (more of the coming next week)!! We finished up the evening with a Q+A pizza party and hugging everyone goodbye will always be my least favorite part of the day. I miss them all already!
