I first met Katie at a shoot she booked with me over two years ago. I still remember loving her adorable personality and bubbly energy from the very beginning!! Then, Katie attended a one-on-one mentoring session with me and we became closer friends. Because she’s a wedding photographer, too, we always ran into each other at conferences and workshops and drew closer and closer! Then Katie got ENGAGED and booked me as her wedding photographer…then asked me to be her BRIDESMAID!!! What an HONOR! So, not only did I PHOTOGRAPH the entire wedding…but I was IN it, too!!! It was craziness but so, so much fun!!

Katie and Josh have such a special love. Josh had one of the best reactions to seeing his bride coming down the aisle that I’ve ever seen! He sobbed and sobbed and couldn’t stay away from her during portraits. He just kept telling her over and over again how stunning she was!! I just loved it!! Their love radiates off of them and everyone around them can see it…it’s such a beautiful thing! Not only was their wedding emotional in all of the best ways…but it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. From the cranberry color palette to the fluffy florals to the golden hour portraits…they had it all!! The portraits from this wedding are definitely new favorites and I can’t wait for you to see them!!
