Every single workshop I do a recap post…and every single workshop leaves me without the right words to adequately summarize it. This set of 16 attendees from across the country (and Canada!!!) blew me away with their talent and their desire to learn. They were beautiful, smart, excited, outgoing and SO much fun to spend two whole days with! And, to top it all off, this was my LAST workshop hosted in the HTP Studio (read more about that here) – so it was sentimental and emotional all around!

As always, we opened workshop festivities with a meet and greet event on Sunday night. My sweet momma (the BEST woman around) made homemade desserts from my great grandma’s recipes for all of the attendees. Strawberry shortcakes, pecan tartlets, Chess squares and hand decorated cookies…she just blows me away. We got to know one another (while eating way too many calories), played a few rounds of Heads Up and then got a good night’s sleep for day one of the workshop!

Both workshop days consisted of 10+ hours of education, a fully styled shoot with industry leading vendors, snacks, meals, swag bags, giveaways and more. We had rain in the forecast for BOTH days of the workshop (and the entire WEEK), but somehow the rain disappeared off the radar for the wedding styled shoot on day one! CRAZY!! We got rained on during the styled shoot on day two…but there wasn’t a single complaint and we still had SO much fun 🙂
