I feel like I say this in almost every blog post…but it’s so true!! Especially about Susie and Darren: I have been waiting for their engagement session for what feels like SO. LONG!! I first met Susie at a Creative at Heart Conference  because she is a photographer herself. I remember loving her bubbly personality (and style!) from the moment I saw her! Then, when I got an inquiry to be her wedding photographer a few months later…I was blown away!! She contacted me all the way back in the fall of 2016 and I was SO honored!! It’s an honor to be a part of the wedding planning process so early AND it’s so special to be chosen to photograph another photographer’s wedding. Double whammy to add on the pressure!! Then they drove all the way from OHIO for this shoot…I knew I had to be on my game!!

I still remember our first Skype call and we talked for FOREVER about things that weren’t even wedding related!! Haha!! Susie and Darren photograph weddings together as a team and they are just too dang cute. When I finally got to hug them in person this week in Richmond I literally squealed out loud with excitement!! Their wedding colors (and engagement session outfits!!!) are my exact brand colors (Susie’s favorite, too!) and it couldn’t have been more of a dream come true!! They even bought me a 6-pack of a local PINK beer that is brewed in Ohio for my 21st birthday…so stinking sweet!!
