Last week I wrapped up the last workshop of 2017 and it was bittersweet!!! Not only was it the last workshop of the year, but it was also the first workshop hosted in a venue outside of my studio!! It took place at the gorgeous Paisley and Jade space in Richmond, Virginia and I LOVED it! It allowed for a larger space, more freedom, a place for BOTH styled shoots to be designed and hosted on-site, and it provided helping hands with set-up/clean up and I was so thankful!!!

For this workshop we welcomed 15 attendees from 10 different states across the country. We spent two days and 20+ hours together learning, growing and building businesses rooted in SERVICE and love. I never feel like I have adequate words to describe the workshop experiences…but I try my best each time!! Over the weekend, I celebrated my business’s 4th birthday and it is still surreal to me that I am able to take everything I’ve learned and pour it into other photographers at these workshops. My hope is that the information I’m able to share will equip these photographers to pursue their passions fearlessly and relentlessly, an help them build businesses that are profitable, strategic and built to last. What a blessing.

Each workshop takes a small village to put together, so there’s quite a few “thank you”s in order here!!!!

Mom & dad: Thank you both for helping me prep for the workshops during the weeks leading up to them. Grocery shopping, car packing, food prepping, swag bag stuffing, schedule proofreading and more…I owe a huge chunk of this to you.

Madison Short: Thank you for being my partner in crime at this workshop and the best, most attentive assistant ever!!! From setting up the food, shooting behind-the-scenes and making sure the attendees were well-taken-care-of, I could not have done this without you!

Caroline:  You are my other half during these workshops!!! Your creative genius and organization are what make the styled shoots possible, and you blow me away each and every time. But, on top of that, you are such a sweet, encouraging, loving friend and I’m so grateful for you.
