Melissa and John are getting married THIS MONTH (ah!!!) and weren’t initially planning on doing an engagement session. But, after a phone call with Melissa a few months ago, she decided that they wanted to work with me before the wedding day so that we could get comfortable working together. This is something that I emphasize for ALL of my couples, even if they already have engagement photos! Working with your wedding photographer before the big day adds so much value to the wedding experience and I am SO glad that I got two meet these two before their wedding!
Melissa and John decided that they wanted to shoot in the gorgeous Shenandoah National Park. The fall colors have just started to show and the temps are quickly cooling off…it was an autumn dream come true!! This is my FAVORITE time of year and these images showcase it beautifully!! Even if we had to hike for 30 mins to find our locations…it was so worth it (and I earned the Mexican food I inhaled afterwards) 😉
Melissa and John; I cannot WAIT to be a part of your wedding in two short weeks! Enjoy some of my favorites from your engagement session! XOXO!
This VIEW!!! Ps…there were more rocks beneath them! You just can’t see them here, but I promise they were safe!! 🙂
Melissa’s gorgeous red hair was so fun to photograph!!
This set might be my favorite!!!
