I’m just not quite sure I have the right words to explain how much I adore Melissa and John. You may recognize them from their mountainside engagement session just two weeks ago, but I need to tell you again just how wonderful they are! These two are so full of so much happiness and one of the things that everyone kept saying about them on their wedding day is how they find JOY in every day life. They can take the simplest day and fill it with spontaneity and laughter…and it’s one of my favorite things about them! There’s never a dull moment with them around, and their smiles are contagious 🙂
Melissa and John both met in high school during band and dated at a young age, but eventually John left for college and they lost touch. Then, one day YEARS later, Melissa was eating out with one of her best friends. They were talking about dating and Melissa casually mentioned that she wondered how John was doing. She went to the bathroom and, on her way back, she saw John chatting with some friends across the restaurant!!! She walked up and said hi, they went on a date two nights later and, in Melissa’s words, “the rest was history”! Melissa says she has journal entries dating back to 1998 talking about how funny John was in high school!! Can you tell why I love these two so much now!? 🙂
With a love this beautiful, the wedding day was bound to be just as incredible! But, I don’t think I could have expected the beautiful details, amazing florals and unbelievable views at the venue!! Melissa and John tied the knot at Melissa’s family’s private property and it couldn’t have been more breathtaking. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites!
Melissa and John: Thank you both so much for including me in such a beautiful celebration. I feel so honored to have been the one to capture all of these joyful moments, and I hope you both are having the BEST time on your honeymoon! XOXO!
