This post is LONG overdue and I can’t believe I’m just now getting around to sharing it!!! For the FIRST time this year, I decided that I would be bringing on interns to work alongside me for wedding days. For the entire year of 2018, they will be acting as my second shooters and assistants. They will also have the opportunity to attend educational events, grow their business, learn about photography, build their portfolios and travel throughout the season! When I opened applications, I didn’t expect a large response…but I received over 120 applicants from across the US and was BLOWN AWAY!

Choosing interns for the year proved to be much harder than I expected and I am SO thankful for every single photographer that took the time to apply. Overall, I was looking for photographers who had experience, advanced equipment, bubbly personalities, a servants heart and a desire to grow and learn. Photographers also had to be local and willing to travel for weddings that may require long weekends. After WEEKS of studying applications, these four wonderful ladies were selected to represent the HTP intern team for 2018!!!

WOOHOO!! I have already spent so much time with these gorgeous ladies and couldn’t be more thankful for them. I can’t wait to see what the 2018 year holds and I know it’s going to be GOOD!
