If you have followed me for awhile or seen ANY of my workshops/events/conferences…you’ve seen Amanda’s work! She is the amazing woman behind Sorby Sweets!!! We have worked together for years now…and she has become such a sweet friend in the process. I saw Amanda get engaged on Instagram, and was jumping for joy for her. I had already met Steven and they are so perfect for each other! I didn’t want to annoy her and reach out about photographing her wedding (even though I wanted to SO badly)!!! But, she is a popular lady around here, and I knew she would have tons of people reaching out to offer to photograph her.  Then, a few weeks later, I got a text while I was driving asking if I wanted to photograph her wedding on a CRUISE out of CHARLESTON in February…and I think I almost wrecked my car. Not even joking. I WAS SO EXCITED!

We instantly began planning and locking down details, and we ended up being able to find time for an engagement session – which we didn’t think was going to happen!!! We had SO much fun exploring some fun little nooks surrounding my home in downtown Fredericksburg (with glasses of wine in between). Her makeup by Glam By Jeet and bouquet by Whimsy Floral Design were to-die-for and I couldn’t have asked for a better color platte with her outfits – haha!!!
