The blog is full of so many exciting things this week!!! Yesterday I blogged an engagement session that I photographed for a creative boss lady that I love…and today I’m sharing an AMAZING wedding of another AMAZING creative!!! Johnna of Twila & Co. married the love of her life, Joe, on Saturday and it was an absolute dream come true. There are certain wedding days that I look forward to for months leading up to it…and this was one of them!

Johnna and Joe have a truly unique love story that shows how much their love can withstand. Even during the days leading up to the wedding…they weren’t sure what this day would look like. Joe is an amputee, and he got an infection in his stump in the weeks right before the wedding day. They weren’t even sure if he would be walking down the aisle. But, by the grace of God (thanks to a WHOLE lot of prayer!!!) Joe was able to stand and have no issues throughout the entire day!!! Praise the Lord!

This wedding day was truly a celebration of an incredible, unwavering love. Johnna and Joe are a joy to be around, and photographing these memories was such an honor. A different type of joy was present throughout this day than most wedding days. The joy of a couple who leans into each other and into God during hardship…and can never, ever be broken.
