This may be one of the most anticipated blog posts that I’ve been asked about NONSTOP this year!!! And it took me until Christmas to finally get it done! Haha!!! On THIS DAY last year, I signed to move into my very first home…and it is SO special to me. There are already so many amazing memories made in this sweet little house, and decorating for Christmas this year worked it’s way to the top of my “fave memories” list! Last Christmas, I had the house…but it was almost completely empty and I was living mostly at my parent’s while we got things moved in. So, there was one little naked Christmas tree in the living room…but that was pretty much it. This year, I went ALL OUT…and it’s like my own little winter wonderland!!!
I’m only renting this home right now (some people don’t realize that!!!) and this will by my second year here. I hope to start the process of looking to buy sometime in 2019…but that is TBD for now 🙂 Decorating new spaces and making them cozy is one of my FAVORITE creative outlets aside from photography. So it makes me SO happy when you guys like seeing these posts as much as I like creating them!
I am going to include sources to as MANY of the pieces in my house as I can – and you can see a few more in last week’s 2018 Gift Guide: For the Home! Some of the pieces I found at Home Goods or are no longer available, so those items won’t have links. But everything else will!!! 🙂
The space you just saw is my living room and main/entry space – and it’s my FAVORITE place in my house right now!!! Here are some of the sources:
Flocked Christmas Tree: Wayfair (I decorated with white fur boas as the garland from Hobby Lobby!!)
