As this post is going live, there are movers at my house packing up everything we own to head down to Charleston this week! AH!!! Kaitlyn’s senior session is one of my LAST senior sessions in VA…which is absolutely crazy to me!! The day of her shoot was a steamy 100 degrees and the humidity was high. It’s always crazy hot in July here in VA…but this year feels like it’s been a lot hotter than usual!! But, Kaitlyn was SUCH a trooper and didn’t let the heat affect her shoot even a little bit. She traveled from over two hours away to make this senior session happen (still SO honored!!!) and I can’t even begin to tell ya’ll how much I love these images!!!

When Kaitlyn filled out her senior questionnaire (photographers, you can download mine HERE!) the only comment she added is that she loves her images to have a “Southern” look to them. That made my heart sing!!! I scouted locations for her session and found flowers that I had been DYING to photograph. When she showed up with stunning outfits and a custom floral crown…I was in photographer heaven!!  We had SO much fun with these!!!!

Kaitlyn, thank you for choosing me to be your senior photographer – and for helping me finish out my shoots in VA with a bang!!

I didn’t even know these wildflowers were in bloom at this location! I was so excited!!!

Fave!!

I call these “snowball bushes”!!! I’ve seen this specific spot in bloom so many times…but I’ve never had a client to photograph while the flowers were still alive. I was SO pumped for these and I love them so much!!!

LOVE!!!!

I thought the red dress shots were going to be my fave…then she pulled out this gorgeous white one!!! LOVE!
