Gahhh, THIS DAY!!! This wedding was my last wedding in Fredericksburg before moving to Charleston, SC. I literally packed everything up and left the NEXT morning at 8am!!! Absolute craziness…but it was the PERFECT finale. The Jepson Alumni Center is less than 3 blocks from my house…which means I literally could have walked to photograph this wedding! What a special way to end my time in Virginia!! In case you didn’t see Jessica and Tony’s engagement session blog post yesterday…these two flew in from TEXAS to get married at UMW!! They both attended this university (at different times, 5 years apart!) and connected in Texas because they were both UMW alumni. Getting married on this campus was SO special to them!! It also happens to be one of my FAVORITE Fredericksburg venues!!

My second shooter, Chelsey, and I arrived at the bridal suite to find so much joy in the room. This bridal party was HUGE and had so much love for Jessica and Tony. It was so evident that they were a special couple just by the way everyone around them loved them SO much!! This carried throughout the entire wedding day and it was so special to witness, and such an honor to photograph!! Their timeline was so wonderful and allowed us an HOUR to travel throughout downtown by trolley and photograph multiple locations…which is any photographer’s dream!! I felt so lucky!

Jessica and Tony: Thank you for allowing me the privilege of capturing your wedding day, and for loving Chelsey and I so well! I just adore you both SO much, and I hope you love these favorites as much as I do! I could have photographed you both FOREVER and never gotten tired of it!!!

One of the best parts about doing a first look!? Getting to attend your own cocktail hour and see all of your guests!! Because pics are already DONE!!

The bride and bridesmaids played the FUNNIEST prank on Jessica’s aunt!!! They are super close, and Jessica wished that her aunt could have been a bridesmaid. So they printed out cutouts of her aunts face and surprised her during cocktail hour!! HAHA!!
