I spend a LOT of time at weddings, and there are very few weddings I photograph where I leave thinking to myself “I hope my wedding is JUST like this someday”. It typically has absolutely NOTHING to do with what the wedding LOOKS like…and everything to do with how the day feels. The way the family loves on the bride and groom, the supportive and FUN people in the bridal party, the joy-filled receptions and speeches that make me laugh and cry behind my lens. Needless to say, Amanda and Tim’s wedding was one of those days. I left feeling SO grateful that I got to witness and photograph it!

Amanda and Tim tied the knot at The Inn at Old Silk Mill – one of the most popular Fredericksburg venues (and only a few blocks from my old house downtown!) It was SO fun to photograph downtown and celebrate alongside these two! I love shooting in Fredericksburg now because I get to see so many old friends and be a tourist in the city I just moved from. Plus, I knew almost the entire vendor team – which made this amazing day even MORE fun!
