My LAST wedding in Fredericksburg, VA…I seriously can’t even believe it!!! After almost 3 months of nonstop traveling every single weekend…this was my last consecutive trip (I get a whole month off!) and my very last wedding in the town I just moved from back in July. And, if that wasn’t already special enough, Kara is someone I have known for YEARS through mutual friends…so I have been looking forward to her wedding for SO long! Far before I even knew I’d be moving!! She also picked the PERFECT time of year for a fall wedding. The weather was still warm enough to spend tons of time outside…but the fall leaves were at their PEAK. Now that I live somewhere that doesn’t have changing leaves or a true fall season…it was amazing to be back in time to see all of the gorgeous fall colors!
Kara and Kevin are such a sweet, joyful couple. They are so laid back and their wedding day reflected that! They held their ceremony at a local church that is special to their family, and their reception at the Jepson Center in downtown Fredericksburg. They left TONS of time in their timeline for portraits and got to go to their own cocktail hour to enjoy their guests. It was just an amazing day all around! Her dress was AMAZING, the florals were stunning and the reception was a blast!
Kara and Kevin: Thank you so much for trusting me to capture these memories! I absolutely loved being a part of your special day and hope that you love these images as much as I do!! Enjoy every second of your honeymoon!!!
I looooveee shooting getting ready portraits in this little hallway! There are so many options of places to get the bride dressed…but the lighting here is just perfect! Grateful for clients who trust me to do things that may seem strange in person (but photograph beautifully!)
Love the florals and bridesmaid dress color combo!
These guys were HILARIOUS!
Another fave on the right!!!
