Earlier this week I shared my Best of Portraits from 2019…and today is all about WEDDINGS! So, if you thought the “Best of Portraits” post was long…buckle up!! Haha! I LOVE going back through my wedding galleries every year. There are so many beautiful moments that unfold at every single wedding that I often forget that some of my favorites photos even existed!! Looking back through my galleries and comparing the beautifully posed portraits vs. the natural, emotional moments always gives me little a reality check. It reminds me that they are both EQUALLY as important. It can be easy to only share the “pretty” pictures (i.e. details, portraits, bridal party, etc.) – but some of my all-time favorite images in this post are the black and white, emotional moments that I know my couples are going to cherish forever.

My wedding photography took me ALL OVER this year: a cruise to the Bahamas, all over Virginia (from Richmond to NOVA to Middleburg) and even all the way to Cape Cod, MA!!! It was a CRAZY year because I moved from VA to SC halfway through…so more than half of my weddings were “destination” for me. I flew somewhere to shoot a wedding every weekend from the end of August to the end of October…there were points where I didn’t think I was going to be able to get it all done. I was SO tired…but I love my job so much and it was the most REWARDING year yet. I hope you enjoy all of my wedding faves from the entire year of 2019!!!
