Annie and Benny’s engagement session was my very first shoot of 2020, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off the year! I was traveling to Richmond last weekend to celebrate my sweet friend’s engagement dinner, and the trip happened to perfectly align with Annie and Benny’s availability! So, we met on Friday evening to photograph their engagement portraits and somehow we got the BEST weather! My trip was sandwiched between rainy, cold days…but we had the perfect overcast skies and temps in the 50’s! So ideal!!!

I already knew because of our email communication that Annie was an absolute sweetheart, but meeting her in person just confirmed that. And that Ben is the PERFECT match for her! They were contagiously joyful throughout the entire session, and sent me the SWEETEST “thank you’s” when we were all finished. Including a selfie of them crying at a bar that night seeing their sneak peeks!! It melted my heart!! I had an absolute blast photographing these two (and their sweet pup!) and I can’t WAIT for their wedding day later this year!
