This blog post and this entire session are so special!!! If you don’t already know him, Reed is an amazing photographer based in Texas who also just so happens to be an online course student of mine!! I met him for the first time at my alumni retreat in Nashville a few years ago. And I immediately loved him!! He has the most infectious, joyful smile (that you’ll see as you continue to scroll!) and is so, so talented. His business is thriving and he is still a high schooler!!!
When he reached out to me that he wanted me to have me do his senior portraits in Charleston I just about melted. Him and his entire family were traveling to town and I knew it was going to be SUCH a special shoot!! But, I also knew the pressure would be on. When you are photographing a photographer who is also a course student of yours…you have to be on top of your game!!! We began planning and it came up SO quickly. We had a rain date in place since Reed was only in town for a few days…but we got the BEST weather ever!! Almost 80 degrees and sunny…a total dream!!! Reed totally trusted me to choose locations (SO grateful for that!!) and we went to two of my absolute favorite spots: Rainbow Row and Hampton Park. Everything in Charleston is starting to bloom and it was absolutely DREAMY!
Reed: thank you so much for trusting me to capture these memories for you! It was so, so special to get to spend the evening with you and your sweet family! I hope you love some of these favorites as much as I do!!!
