Ya’ll…it’s my first shoot back in TWO WHOLE MONTHS!!! AH!!! I can’t even believe it…and this shoot wasn’t even planned!! South Carolina has slowly started to lift stay-at-home orders and allowed small businesses to begin opening back up, which includes photographers. But, to be safe, I’ve kept almost all of my client shoots beginning in early June. So, when Savannah and Matt came to town and they gave me a resounding “YES” when I asked to photograph them, I was SO EXCITED. It felt so good to be back! And, even better? I VLOGGED the entire thing! You can watch it HERE!!!

Because I was traveling back to VA so often during the fall and winter months, then COVID hit…I haven’t gotten to spend a ton of time shooting in downtown Charleston. I was excited for the opportunity to use this shoot to explore and find some new “hidden gem” locations…and we did just that! The BEST part was that downtown was almost completely empty…we were so spoiled! I got to shoot in locations I may never get to use again because there were so few cars in the background. I was over-the-moon excited!
