Ohhhh ya’ll this shoot is so special to me! I have so many new favorites images from this session that one has already made it’s way onto the home page of my website – hahaha! Sacia is a sweet friend of mine that I met when I moved here to Charleston. But, beyond that, she is a WILDLY talented wedding photographer who’s work I absolutely love. She reached out to me a few months ago on Instagram about having me do her anniversary portraits…and I was FLOORED! It’s always such an honor when another photographer trusts you to capture their memories. Because we are super picky! Hahaha!

We spent quite a few weeks brainstorming location ideas. After going through a few different options…we decided to go with the traditional downtown Charleston locations. Sacia and Rob got married at the Mills House just a few years ago…so why not go back to where it all started!? We captured some gorgeous images against the iconic pink walls (which they never got during the hustle and bustle of their wedding day!) and then we walked the surrounding blocks to find some new nooks and crannies I hadn’t photographed before. It was a dream! And that Lilly Pulitzer dress!? I DIE!

Scia and Rob, thank you so much for trusting me to capture this season for you! I cannot WAIT to have you both living here in Charleston close by and I hope you love these favorites as much as I do!
