My LAST wedding of 2020…and it was such a special one to me. Ellen was a sweet friend of mine in high school, and I was actually friends with her when she STARTED dating Brandon all the way back in 2011! Their wedding was actually originally scheduled for February 2021, but with all the uncertainty this year…they decided the most important thing was for them to be MARRIED. So, instead, they pushed the wedding up to December 2020 with only their closest family and friends…and it was amazing!
I photographed Ellen and Brandon’s engagement session in Charleston earlier this year…but I got to travel back to VA for the wedding! Madison at the Mill was a venue that was brand new to me…and it was such a fun challenge to finish my year off at a new location! Their wedding day included the cutest Christmas-inspired details, the most precious first look and a beautiful twinkly-lit ceremony. We even got to do some sunset portraits with mountain views!!!
Ellen and Brandon: thank you for trusting me with capturing your beautiful wedding day! I just love you both, and it makes me so happy to see you both so happy. I hope you enjoy scrolling through some of my favorite images – I can’t wait for you to see the full gallery!
Love this shot!!!
Ellen wasn’t expecting tears…but Brandon totally cried during the first look!
Another favorite! So much joy!!!
Love that bridal portrait on the left!
I just LOVE this whole set of portraits!!!
FAVE!
They did a little cake-cutting, just the two of them! They are waiting to host their reception until it is safer…so this was the perfect solution!
