Today’s video is on one of my FAVORITE topics…and that is senior portraits! Seniors are (and have always been!) my absolute favorite thing to photograph…and my favorite thing to teach on. But, seniors can also be tricky because POSING them is so different than posing any other type of client. I explain it like this: when you are photographing most people (families, couples, friends, bridal parties, etc.) you are capturing CONNECTION between multiple people. When you are photographing seniors, you are capturing CONFIDENCE because you are photographing them by themselves. But, what makes it hard is that it’s YOUR job as the photographer to CREATE that confidence!
