This post is so bittersweet to write…because it’s the LAST mastermind retreat post. I’m sure I’ll do another mastermind in 2022…but for right now, this is literally the last mastermind retreat we have scheduled!!! This amazing group of business owners were my mastermind students from July-December of 2020. Our retreat was originally scheduled for January of this year…but COVID had other plans. Cases spiked drastically after Christmas, and things in Charleston started closing as a result…so we knew we had to push it back. I was SO bummed in the moment…but looking back, I truly believe it was a blessing in disguise. We all talked about how much we NEEDED this retreat right now…so I think God knew exactly what He was doing 🙂

We stayed at the same house as the last retreat that I hosted in June, and it may be my new favorite Airbnb in Charleston! It’s the PERFECT layout for bigger groups, and also just absolutely adorable! Everyone arrived on Monday evening around 5pm, and we kicked things off with a happy hour, charcuterie and pizza night! Then, we actually all went downtown for some live music and rooftop drinks before heading to bed. On Tuesday, we had a jam-packed day of content, head shots, co-working and a delicious dinner downtown before closing things out with brunch on Wednesday. It went by WAY too fast, but I just had the absolute BEST time.

This mastermind group is so special to me…it’s unique because all of the members truly became FRIENDS throughout the 6 months of us working together. Our biweekly calls started to feel more like hanging out with my best friends, and this retreat felt the exact same way. It was contagiously joyful and I laughed the ENTIRE time. They are equally hilarious as they are passionate, and just as kind as they are driven. I adore them so, so much – and the relationships that we built at this retreat are truly ones that I can see lasting for a lifetime. I’m so thankful for this group for loving me and encouraging me the same way they pour into each other.

Each of you is so strong, resilient, kind, hard-working, driven and absolutely hilarious – and I feel so lucky to know each and every one of you.
