I’ve been waiting for this wedding day for SO LONG! MK is an amazing photographer that was a part of my mastermind group last year. When she reached out to me about photographing her wedding day in Natchez, Mississippi – I was SO excited! I consider her such a sweet friend, and it was a huge honor to be asked to be a part of her special day. From the very beginning of planning, I could tell we were kindred spirits! We have the same favorite colors, same taste and same love for classic Southern details. When I got the chance to meet Chad at their engagement session, I knew their wedding day was going to be SUCH a fun time!
From the moment I arrived at Brandon Hall Plantation in Natchez, I knew two things. One: it was crazy hot and humid and there were lots of storms that popped up in the forecast out of nowhere. But, number two: MK and Chad were not going to let a SINGLE thing bring down their mood or their joy. Despite some of the craziness of the morning (including some of the LOUDEST thunder I have ever heard!)…the entire wedding day was an absolute dream from start to finish. It started with an entire TRUNK of details that I got to photograph on a wrap-around porch (with haint blue ceilings, no less!) and it ended with a live band and a flower petal exit into a vintage Rolls Royce. Talk about an INCREDIBLE day!!!
MK and Chad have so many people that love them. Their wedding guest list was almost 400 people, and every single person was beaming with joy the entire day. Their reception was a PARTYYYY, and the joy was contagious the entire night. I just loved getting to witness and capture so much love in one room!!!
MK and Chad: Thank you so much for trusting me with the privilege of capturing the best day of your lives. It was such an honor, and I hope you enjoying scrolling through some of my favorites (hopefully with a frozen cocktail in hand from St. John!!!)
