My LAST wedding blog post of 2023…and it’s such a special one! Olivia and Curt tied the knot last week in Charleston, SC with the most gorgeous, intimate elopement at Middleton Place. And I still can’t believe I got the honor of being their photographer! Olivia and I went to high school in the same area and met through mutual friends over a decade ago. Coincidentally, she also moved into the apartment complex next to Hayden’s the SAME MONTH that Hayden and I started dating! Even cooler? She started dating Curt at the exact same time. I still remember that I sat by the pool with her one day while Hayden was at work and we talked about how much we liked the guys we were dating and that they really could be “the one”…now look at us!! BOTH married within 6 months of each other! What a bananas story!

Olivia and Curt have always had such a sweet, easy love. From the moment we went on our first double-date, I could just tell that they were so at peace with each other and truly the best of friends. I’ve watched their relationship grow over the last 3 years and it was SO special to be the one to capture their WEDDING, too! They opted to have a small elopement-style wedding with just their families in Charleston…and it was PERFECT for them. I loved how easy and relaxed the entire timeline felt (just like them!) and they finished off the day with a family dinner under the mossy trees. What a dream!

Olivia and Curt: Thank you for trusting me to capture SO many special seasons of your lives! From photographing Olivia’s family photos in high school and her senior portraits…all the way to your engagement session and wedding day…it’s truly been such an honor. I love you both to pieces and hope you enjoy scrolling through some of my favorites!
