I don’t even know how to start this post…THAT is how epic this wedding day was! What an incredible start to the year of 2026. A 600-person New Year’s Eve wedding day (!!!) on the family’s private property…an absolute dream from start to finish. I have had the honor of knowing Lillie Blakelyn’s gorgeous family since I was little. I grew up with them when I was barely in preschool! Since then, I’ve had the privilege of photographing so many of their milestones including their gorgeous Palmetto Bluff Engagement Session over the summer. When they reached out to me to tell me Lillie Blakelyn was engaged…I screamed out loud! From the moment I got the news, I’ve been counting down the minutes until this day. Lillie Blakelyn and Cameron are the absolute sweetest couple, and I knew their family was going to throw the most ICONIC celebration for them…and I was right!
We arrived at the family’s private farm to begin our wedding day coverage around noon…and we were there until 1am on New Year’s Day! Yes, 13 HOURS of coverage to capture every single moment of this nonstop day! We began the day with disco-ball inspired details, the bride getting ready in the sentimental family cottage, the most FUN bridesmaids photos in matching Roller Rabbit pajamas, the sweetest tear-jerking first looks…all the way up until the 600-guest ceremony and iconic helicopter exit (complete with raining mini disco balls)! YES, you are reading all of that right. I’m telling you…iconic!!! Did I mention the fireworks?
Just wait until you scroll through all of the gorgeous images from this day. And trust me, there are a LOT! If you’ve been following me for a long time, then yes…you may also be thinking “wait, I didn’t think Hope was shooting weddings anymore”. And you would be right! This was an exception during my two year break from photographing wedding days…but I am BACK and accepting wedding bookings for 2026-2027 brides!
