Allie & Noah Inspired Shoot | HTP Workshop

For Photographers

2014-07-13_0019

It takes months and months of planning to put together workshops. Contacting vendors, finding shoot locations, putting together presentations, planning the meals, decorating, purchasing favors and finding perfect models…but it is SOOOO worth it. This workshop was AMAZING and the photo shoot was a DREAM. The Notebook has always been one of my absolute favorite movies, and the main characters (Allie & Noah) were the inspiration for this shoot! For those of you who have seen the movie, the canoe, ice cream & bike scenes are all iconic to the award-winning film.

When I came up with the concept of the shoot, I immediately knew that I wanted to do the canoe scene. But, I also wanted to incorporate more from The Notebook movie, and for a while I couldn’t quite figure out what. Then, the vintage bike came into my mind and I knew I had to have one! I searched high and low (Brandon and I spent an entire 90 degree day walking through vintage stores downtown and couldn’t find ANYTHING!) Then, I did a ton of Googling, and I found the PERFECT bike! The ice cream cone scene was the icing on the cake and I could not be more IN LOVE with this shoot!

Gabbi and Chase could not have been more phenomenal. They were such troopers! We had them in canoes, on top of bike handle bars and workin’ it in 100 degrees…but they are SO adorable together and the chemistry between them made this shoot absolutely perfect.

I will be blogging more about the workshop this week (with some killer behind-the-scenes shots) but, for now, here are my absolute favorites from our Allie & Noah inspired shoot! Enjoy and leave them some love!
