Anytime I collaborate with vendors like Dear Sweetheart Events, Paisley & Jade, Sorby Sweets, Katherine Elizabeth Bridal, Hello Darling Beauty + Rachel Tenny…I know it’s going to be good. But I just didn’t know it would be THIS good!!! When Kat and I began chatting details about the styled shoot for this workshop, we knew we wanted it to be different. My typical style is very bright + bubbly, but I wanted to try something more soft + romantic. These light pink and white fluffy flowers, beautiful watercolor details + STUNNING outfits brought together a shoot that was breathtaking in every way!

At every Senior Photography Workshop I host, my goal is for each attendee to leave feeling more confident in their posing + lighting. I also want everyone to walk away with new portfolio images that they are PROUD of! For anyone who has attended a workshop in the past, shooting a styled shoot with 12+ other attendees is HARD! Getting shots for yourself is nearly impossible in a group of 13, which is why Kat and I decided to break down the shoot into stations. After 30 minutes of teaching posing and light, we broke the attendees into groups of four, separated the stations and let each group have one model to themselves. As we rotated between stations, I floated between groups to be sure that everyone was having their questions answered and getting the shots that they were hoping for. We absolutely LOVED it and the photos that the attendees are sharing have been AMAZING!

I also wanted to give a HUGE thank you to all of the amazing vendors who participated in the shoot (listed above!!) and to my parents and Brandon for all of their support during every workshop. Those two are my rock during workshops because putting them together is HARD! They help me with set-up behind the scenes, act as clean-up crew when I’m too pooped to get off the couch and help me ensure that every little detail comes together perfectly! Thank you all SO much!!!
