Because tax season is upon us, I’m sure I’m not the only one scrambling to collect all of the last minute details that I need for my accountant!!! Over the last two years, I’ve found a few apps that make this season a little easier on me. One of those apps is my FAVORITE mileage tracking app ever…Mile IQ!!!

Mile IQ is an iPhone app that automatically tracks your mileage FOR you!!! Yes, I’m serious. All of the other milage apps I found required you to click “start” and “stop” on each one of your trips. I am SO bad at keeping track of my miles that away, and I constantly forgot to open the app and start it on my way to a wedding or conference. Then I discovered Mile IQ and it has changed EVERYTHING for me!! All I do is download the app + it AUTOMATICALLY detects when I am driving. Crazy!!! Then, at the end of the day (or week!!), I just open Mile IQ and classify each drive as “personal” or “business” by swiping it to the right or left. Then, Mile IQ emails me a summary of each month to keep track of things for tax season. SO wonderful!!! It looks a little something like this:

When I swipe a drive to the right for business, I can then classify the drive into a category to keep better track of all of my miles. So great!!!
