Madi and Keegan’s engagement session was the first shoot of the year where we found blooming flowers!!! AH!!! The cherry blossoms here in VA have started to bloom and I am SO ready for spring. But, as I’m typing this, there are up to 8 INCHES of snow in the forecast for Virginia this week…what!? Bring on more flowers for engagement season, please! I was SO excited when I stumbled upon this blooming yellow tree for Madi and Keegan’s shoot in downtown Fredericksburg! It may have been chilly, but the light and locations were AMAZING and these two were total rockstars through it all!

Madi met Keegan online a year ago and they immediately hit it off! Their playful love was so fun to photograph. They are so sweet and fun together…I just adore working with them! There were lots of giggles throughout this entire shoot…and we even got to include their sweet pup (thanks to Madi’s mom for hanging out with us and keeping an eye on her!)
