I am so excited to introduce you to my February 2022 Star Students!! I LOVE my online course students, and this is such a fun way for them to humbly brag about all the amazing things they are doing!! This month, I’ve got 3 students to tell you about: Jen, Autumn & Kelsey. It’s my hope that you’ll be encouraged and inspired by all they are doing in their photography businesses!!

 

Before I took this course, I was struggling with… how to restart my business!

Since completing the course… I was able to take my business full time after being laid-off for the 2nd time. I was able to make $20K in 6 months and within the first 9 months of business!

I was interested in this course specifically because… I needed some refreshers. I took a 7 year hiatus from my photography business.

If someone asked me about this course, I would tell them… I would 100% recommend this course for beginners or someone who needs a refresher. Everything was easy to comprehend.

If I had to list my 3 biggest tangible WINS since completing the course, they would be… more confidence to take my business full time, increased booking and sold out of Holiday Sessions, and overall better images!

Before I took this course… One of my biggest struggles was keeping up with the very tough competition in my area. It felt difficult to stand out to other photographers, therefore it was difficult to get many bookings. I also lacked the confidence needed to utilize my talents to the fullest extent, which meant I was not delivering my absolute best to my customers.

Since completing the course… It has only been 9 months since I completed the first course I took part in, and I have had success in every single aspect of my business. One of my favorite things is how confident I feel now. This has helped me to book SO many more sessions. I doubled my senior sessions this past year, and I even increased bookings on weddings, which was a very big goal of mine but not what I was expecting when I took the courses!

There is no arguing how much more successful I have been thanks to Hope’s courses. In 2021 I made $15,000 more than I did in 2020. It was enough of a big change to make me confident in continuing to do photography full-time, which is something that has always been a struggle in the past!

I was interested in this course specifically because… I am part of all 3 of the senior courses, because senior photography has always been my passion. I was in high school when I started my business, and it felt like the most natural part of my work.

If someone asked me about this course, I would tell them… I can admit that purchasing these courses was a financial leap for me – which can be scary! With that being said, the financial rewards that I have gained from the courses have been exponentially higher than the investment I put into it, and this is not just a short-term solution to a problem in your business, it gives you an entire foundation in which to build your perfect photography business off of!

If I had to list my 3 biggest tangible WINS since completing the course, they would be…

1. My relationships with my customers! Not only has this been the most fantastic year I have ever had with my ambassadors (spokesmodels) in the 6 years that I have had a team, I also feel like I truly have a personal relationship with each senior I photograph.
2. My income – I have been doing photography for 8 years, and for the past 5 of those my income has been steadily around $9,000-$10,000. This past year my income was $24,500.
3. My confidence! The information Hope provides in the courses about marketing personally is invaluable. I actually feel as though my customers are coming to me not just because of my work, but because of who I am as a person. Because of that, we easily form a great relationship that reflects back in my work!

Before I took this course, I was struggling with… Posing my seniors confidently! I could easily run my workflow, I just couldn’t connect sounding like I knew exactly what I was doing on the actual posing portion.

Since completing the course, I have… I can now pose and share with them how confident and beautiful they look. I went from selling a handful of digitals to selling full galleries at their IPS sessions. They leave excited and sharing their images on social media!

I was interested in this course specifically because… I wanted to jump deeper into the business side of things, I’m pretty locked in on my workflows but just needed to hear MORE ideas. I wanted to get new and fresh looks at my business, Hope did this by giving me ideas I never through through to incorporate!

If someone asked me about this course, I would tell them… JUMP! You seriously couldn’t invest in something better for your business. Especially at the beginning of a new year, start now, learn little snippets to incorporate and watch your business grow in the busy season!

If I had to list my 3 biggest tangible WINS since completing the course, they would be… (1) booking more seniors this past year, (2) getting more engagement on social media, and (3) tweaking my pricing to match the needs or my seniors
