Where do I even begin!? Sydney and Michael’s wedding day at Hewitt Oaks in Bluffton was absolutely beautiful. From the moment I had a consult call with Sydney and her mom, I knew that I was going to adore this couple. Photographing their engagement session confirmed just how much I loved them, and it was truly an honor to be a part of their wedding day! Sydney and I are kindred spirits, and I’ve had so much fun getting to be a part of her wedding journey with Michael – I’m going to miss these two!!!
Sydney and Michael aren’t just high school sweethearts…they are 8TH GRADE (!!!) sweethearts! They started dating when they were still just kids! It was so special to hear everyone at the wedding talk about how they just KNEW they were made for each other. Even all the way back then! After that many years, it is so clear that Sydney and Michael have built a powerful foundation for a marriage with their friendship at the core. They are SO loved (we are talking a 20+ person bridal party!) and it is so evident how much their families and friends love and support them as a couple. Capturing their wedding day was easy, because there was so much JOY woven into every single moment. I can’t wait for you to take a scroll through!
Sydney and Michael: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for trusting me to capture the most special day of your lives. It was truly such a joy to see you both become husband and wife (!!!) I hope you enjoy scrolling through some of my favorites from your big day – and I hope it is with a cocktail in hand on the beach!!!
I have been absolutely LOVING the new trend of painted champagne bottles!! Such a stunning detail to add!
