Shayli’s senior session was SUCH a fun one!!! She flew all the way in from Oklahoma for her portraits, and she wanted her session to highlight all of the quintessential Charleston goodness: pastel colors, colorful buildings, iconic downtown locations and the beach. We explored the Battery and Rainbow Row areas together before heading over to Sullivan’s Island for sunset, and every part of this session felt so joyful and full of personality!

Shayli is a huge beach girl, so she didn’t want to just capture the ocean…she wanted to capture the entire vibe of the beach. And I loved that so much!!! Sullivan’s Island was the perfect spot to end her session because it gave us the soft, coastal, relaxed feel she was hoping for while still keeping the gallery colorful and elevated. Between the classic Charleston backdrops downtown, the pastel tones, the ocean breeze and Shayli’s bubbly personality…this session was such a dream from start to finish. She was full of joy, so fun to work with, and made every location feel bright and effortless! Sessions like this are exactly why I love being a Charleston senior portrait photographer…especially when seniors travel from out of state to create a session that feels completely unique to them.
