Maycie Grace’s senior session in downtown Charleston was SUCH a fun one!!! She and her mom traveled all the way from Alabama just for these pictures, and it was their very first time ever visiting Charleston. No pressure, right!? We had to make sure they got allllll of the Charleston goodness in one session…and I think we delivered!

Maycie Grace is a cheerleader, and her bright, bubbly personality shined through in every single photo. She was so joyful, easygoing and so fun to photograph! We captured so many iconic Charleston spots throughout her session: Rainbow Row, the Battery, The Mills House and more. She also rented The Pink Figgy car, which paired perfectly with the most adorable white dress that had a bow in the back. It was the cutest combination!!! And I loved that she brought along even more personal details, including her cheer poms and her childhood stuffed animal. Those little touches made her session feel so unique to her and added so much personality to the gallery.

Between The Pink Figgy, the classic downtown locations, The Mills House and all of Maycie Grace’s thoughtful details, this session felt like such a perfect Charleston senior experience. It’s always such an honor when families travel from out of state to work with me, and sessions like this are exactly why I love being a Charleston Senior Portrait Photographer…we get to create a full experience that feels beautiful, memorable and completely personal.
