Londyn’s senior session in downtown Charleston was SUCH a fun one!!! She traveled in from over two hours away for her portraits, and I was so excited to bring her vision to life. In her questionnaire, she described wanting half of her images to have a “floral botanical garden vibe” and the other half to feel like a “classic Charleston downtown vibe.” She also said she wanted the whole session to feel “fun but classic” and capture the essence of “fabulous chic”…and I feel like we captured it PERFECTLY!!!

We started downtown at The Mills House Hotel, which gave us the most iconic Charleston backdrop. Between the famous pink exterior, the classic downtown feel and that stunning marble staircase, it was the perfect location for Londyn’s fabulous style. Everything felt elevated, chic and so true to the vision she described. I love when seniors know exactly what they want their session to feel like, because it makes it so much fun to bring all of those details together!

After downtown, we headed to Hampton Park for the floral botanical garden feel, and Charleston absolutely showed off for us. We ended the evening with golden hour sunset light surrounded by florals, and it was the dreamiest way to finish her session. From the marble staircase to The Mills House to the soft, colorful blooms at sunset, Londyn’s gallery had the perfect mix of classic Charleston and garden-inspired senior portraits. Sessions like this are exactly why I love being a Charleston Senior Portrait Photographer…every senior gets to dream up a vision that feels like them, and then we get to bring it to life in the most beautiful locations!
