Aubrey’s senior session in downtown Charleston was full of so much color, personality and the prettiest flowers!!! She traveled all the way from Mississippi for her portraits, which is always such an honor. I never take it lightly when families make a big trip to Charleston to work with me…and I was so excited to bring Aubrey’s colorful vision to life!

Aubrey is a talented athlete who plays both tennis and basketball. I want to be as cool as her when I grow up! She wanted her senior portraits to feel bright, feminine and full of Charleston charm: lots of color, beautiful flowers and all the classic backdrops that make downtown so special. And Charleston absolutely delivered for her!!!

We photographed with The Pink Figgy and somehow got to park right on the corner of Rainbow Row, which was SO beautiful. That little stretch of downtown is always iconic, but pairing it with The Pink Figgy made it feel even more fun and colorful. It was the perfect way to highlight everything Aubrey wanted her gallery to feel like: cheerful, bright, Charleston-inspired and full of personality.

And just WAIT until you see her blue floral dress (!!!) It was one of my favorite looks from the entire session. The color photographed so beautifully against the pink floral trees, and it added the prettiest pop of blue to a gallery already full of florals and color. I loved the variety we were able to create throughout her shoot, while still keeping everything cohesive and true to her vision.
