Harper’s senior session was one of those shoots where every single outfit deserved its OWN moment!!! She chose three dresses for her entire session, and I absolutely loved that she went for quality over quantity. Instead of squeezing in a million outfit changes, she brought three total show-stoppers that each gave us something completely different…and every single one looked amazing on her!

We started at Boone Hall Plantation, and her white tiered dress could not have been more perfect for this location. Between the huge oak trees, hanging Spanish moss, brick details and that iconic avenue of oaks…it felt like classic Charleston in the prettiest way. When she walked out in her second look…my jaw dropped! The blue dress is EVERYTHING. I especially loved the sheer detail and textured flowers…it’s something I want to have in my own closet!

Then we headed downtown to The Mills House Hotel and explored the nearby Broad Street area. This is where Harper’s outfits REALLY started showing off. Her pink ombré floral dress against the pink walls of The Mills House!? ICONIC. We used the beautiful columns and checkerboard floor, then explored nearby cobblestone streets and colorful Charleston architecture. It all looked so gorgeous with her statement dress!

We also had the BEST weather and light from beginning to end. The glow through the oak trees at Boone Hall, the soft downtown light and all of those pastel Charleston colors gave us such a beautiful backdrop for a wardrobe this good. This session was such a reminder that you truly do not need a million outfits to create tons of variety. Three incredible dresses + intentional locations = SO much goodness!!!
