Instagram has been the secret weapon in my business’ marketing since day one. And now, I am able to utilize it better than EVER thanks to one of my new favorite tools for scheduling my social media! I honestly can’t believe I haven’t shared this yet…but Planoly is my new FAVORITE tool for scheduling my Instagram feed and content!

As Instagram has progressed and grown into the most popular tool for business owners, it has become increasingly important to prioritize the visual appearance and cohesiveness of your Instagram feed. I lovingly refer to it as my “social media storefront” – the place where all of my potential clients will most likely see me FIRST. It needs to be a great representation of my business, both visualyl and with the content that I am sharing. But, when someone clicks on my Instagram name (whether they’ve found me in a comment, tagged in someone’s photo or in their “explore tab), they’re going to base their decision about following me strictly based on what my feed LOOKS like.

I’m not sure if you’ve done this before (or if you still do!) but I used to post an image on social media and quickly delete it, just so I could see if it would fit well on my feed. Now, I’m able to upload as many images as I want into Planoly, arrange them however I would like, and see my entire Instagram feed before I ever post an image. Not only that, but I can also SCHEDULE posts (including the caption!) so that I can be hands-off on my social media for days at a time, if necessary. Here’s what the back end looks like:

 

I can upload as many pictures as I’d like, and the pink “U” in the upper left corner means the post is unscheduled, and can be moved around. The blue “S” means the most has been scheduled, and is staying in it’s place!

Genius!!! Now, I will say, since Planoly has been released, a TON of apps with a similar concept have been released at a much lower price point. This is just what I’m using because I paid for it in advance! But, if you aren’t using some type of Instagram scheduling app to plan out your feed, now is the time to start! You’ll love it!
