When I had my first Skype call with Sam and Bryce, I felt so creepy. I recognized the color and texture of the wall they were sitting in front of because it was the same apartment complex I lived in when I lived in Richmond for a short period of time…so I knew where they lived just based on chatting over a video call! HAHA!  But, that was the same call we totally hit it off…and I’ve been looking forward to hanging out with them in person ever since! We decided to do their engagement session at the beautiful Richmond capitol (which is one of my FAVORITE places to shoot) and the weather did not disappoint!!

Sam and Bryce met at work and lived together in Ohio before deciding to make the jump and move East. Richmond is the PERFECT balance for them of outdoors and city life – they spend almost every moment they can outside. So it only makes sense that Bryce proposed on the top of a mountain in Shenandoah. So stinking sweet!!! I absolutely LOVED spending the evening with these two on Tuesday…AND seeing them at my couple’s wedding over the weekend that will be up on the blog TOMORROW! Such a small world!
