Oh this senior session is just to special to me!!! If you’ve been following me or reading my blog posts this year, you know that I took a break from photographing seniors last year to focus on education. This year, I am accepting senior bookings again and am already booked through almost the entire summer. CRAZY!! One of the sweet girls who wanted to book me for her COLLEGE senior portraits was Cassandra. She was graduating with an associates degree and pursuing photographing full time (!!!) instead of finishing her college career. It is so close to my heart because it is so similar to the journey that I took in my own business! It’s already an honor to have seniors ask me to capture these memories for them…but for a PHOTOGRAPHER to choose me!? Always blows me away (and adds a little extra pressure!!)

I drove down to Richmond to photograph Cassandra at the Capitol building. She LOVED my work incorporating flowers…but I wasn’t sure where I was going to find flowers in the city parts of Richmond. But, as I parked my car in the public lot..I noticed floral bushes on either side of it! I called Cassandra and had her meet me at a random parking lot in the city and she did…and it was so worth it!!! She got the floral shots she wanted AND the city shots at the Capitol. NAILED IT!

I had so much fun exploring Richmond and can’t wait for you to see some of my favorites! Congratulations, Cassandra!
