Karley’s senior session was over-the-top EPIC in the absolute best way!!! She and her mom flew in all the way from Texas for her portraits, so we wanted to squeeze as much Charleston magic into this shoot as we possibly could. And between The Pink Figgy, florals by Pop and Palette, a pink cap and gown, Rainbow Row and a floral-filled park…I think we did exactly that!!!

This session had so many next-level details that made it feel extra special. Karley rented The Pink Figgy, and Pop and Palette created the prettiest florals to go with it. That combination is always a dream, but pairing it with Karley’s pink cap and gown made the whole setup feel even more fun and celebratory. It was colorful, feminine, joyful and such a perfect way to highlight this milestone season.

We also explored Rainbow Row and captured so much of the classic Charleston color that makes this city so special. When someone travels from so far away for their senior portraits, I always want their gallery to feel like a true Charleston experience: pastel buildings, flowers, cobblestone, iconic backdrops and a little bit of magic tucked into every location. Karley’s session had ALL of that and more.

Then we finished with floral-filled park photos, which gave the gallery such a beautiful, soft ending. I loved how much variety we packed into this shoot without it feeling overwhelming. Every detail felt intentional, every location added something different and Karley brought the whole thing to life with her style and personality. This was one of those sessions where I kept thinking, “I cannot believe this is my job!!!”
