Sophie’s senior session in Charleston was such a sweet one!!! She traveled all the way from Pittsburgh for her portraits and brought along her sweet family, which made the whole evening feel even more special. I always love when families travel in for senior sessions because it becomes more than just a photoshoot…it becomes a fun memory from their time exploring Charleston together!

We had the best time walking through the city, finding beautiful backdrops and capturing all of the charm that makes Charleston such a dream for senior portraits. Sophie plays both softball and tennis, so she is clearly talented, driven and athletic…but for this session, we focused on creating portraits that felt classic, feminine and true to this exciting season of her life.

It was a CRAZY hot day in Charleston, but you would truly never be able to tell from the photos. Sophie looked so beautiful and effortless the entire time, even with the summer heat and humidity doing its thing! She handled it like such a pro, and her outfits photographed so perfectly against the Charleston backdrops.

One of my favorite looks she brought was a pink sweater that gave the sweetest Nantucket vibes. It felt classic, coastal and so pretty…and it added such a fun, polished feel to her gallery! I loved how that outfit paired with the colors and textures of Charleston. Between her wardrobe, her sweet family, the beautiful city streets and the way she made a hot summer day look easy, this session was such a joy from start to finish.
